Dance biofeedback research and Musculpt are necessary preliminaries to a new initiative in human-dolphin communications. Humans must learn to enter identity states apropos of the dolphin pod if humans are to learn to speak Dolphin and no longer insist that dolphins learn to speak Human. These identity states can be simulated and progressively assimilated by small human groups undergoing stress-oriented movement training with access to wireless transmission of biofeedback signals as well as use of Musculpt-equipped flotation tanks. Virtual reality technology would be useful only if adapted to the requirements of Musculpt. The most appropriate form of stress-oriented movement training is sacred dance. Pushing the practice to the edge of individual and group tolerance is necessary for emergence of empathically-driven bonding values and expression of nascent identity transparency. Training methods associated with development of small group esprit de corps, long utilized by the species for the purposes of warfare, need to be stripped of their military applications and returned to their origins in animistic sacred practice. The loss of identity transparency in everyday life was the origin of human warfare; that warfare will be overcome only when identity transparency is returned to everyday life. Evidence to the contrary has been selectively assembled by ethnological, anthropological, archeological, and paleontological institutions in order to doctrinally legitimize the historical rise of the nation-state system, its superordinate conglomerations, and its associated patterns of forced indoctrination. Quantum attributes of physical and biological processes involved in self-organizing systems, however, flagrantly violate the premises of this hagiographic account of human history which idolizes the state and the suprastate.

Visualize the rectangular grid formed by a modular video array, say four modular units by three modular units, composed of twelve large-scale video screens. Each module displays the transmitted EEG output, for instance, from one dancer in a Fourier transform color-field synthesis of the waveforms. Headband-type wireless transmitters of EEG signals, receivers, and video display software have recently become commercially available. As the dancers work together as a group, as a “pod” that is, over time identity transparency will develop via processes of spontaneous social order, as the elite-unit special-service-corps military-training precedent suggests. Such units, in combat, inevitably, are organizationally flat, without an in-practice command hierarchy and unresponsive to attempted imposition of external command: they exhibit spontaneous elegance and efficiency of corporate motion. Forced indoctrination under the aegis of the nation-state proceeds by repetition-driven heterohypnotic induction into patterns of facilitated proprioceptive and perceptive automatism concomitant with ego-bound modes of cognition (the nation-state being a projection of the ego-sphere). Escape from this brainwashing requires kinesthetic counter-repetition and reverse metaprogramming to neutralize the repetition of forced indoctrination. When a critical point of balance is reached -- counter-repetition contraposed to repetition -- processes of autogenic neutralization abreactively transpire which release a suppressed capacity for spontaneous-directedness. This is why the mainstream military has always despised special service units: the processes by which these units become so effective are opposed to everything the state represents; those processes are an expression of identity transparency at the root of animism, which is the antithesis of the state. Those samurai who were not ronin were not practicing samurai. Modular video biofeedback display will facilitate emergence of identity transparency in the human pod through practices of kinesthetic counter-repetition and the psychogenic inner counter-work of reverse metaprogramming: essential prerequisites of detachment according to Zen.

The block or patch display on video array is a technique used in chaos theory research to model transitional states of self-organizing systems: renormalization. Block renaming (changing patterns on and between blocks) is a renormalization technique used to identify when a corpus of elements has entered a state of self-organized criticality, a very elaborate condition of functional superintegration. The block or patch display, when run on a computer model, is a kinetic landscape which has been used to study genetic selection and drift, maturation of immune response, antigen-antibody affinities, and so on. The basic parameters are N and K. N is the number of blocks and K is the number of correlations between blocks. The block array is thus an NK kinetic landscape or covering surface. In the present movements application, the content of the blocks is biofeedback information characterizing the changing psychophysiologic state of the dancers relative to each other and relative to the whole pod of which they each are a part. Study of computer memory of the evolving color-field dynamic-polymorph emergent patterns -- spontaneously generated with evolution of identity transparency in the pod through movements training in counter-repetition -- will provide a wealth of clues as to biogenesis of a multiplicity of already known, suspected, and yet to be discovered factors. The patch display in movements application is a kinesthetic affinity landscape for cultivation of empathically-driven bonding values mapped on the NK covering surface. What has heretofore required eidetic visualization capabilities verging on levels of expertise associated with practice of Samadhi, can now be displayed (with evolving levels of accuracy as the hardware and software develop) for all to view. At some point, holographic and virtual reality applications of kinesthetic affinity landscapes will appear. There will also be a merging of the choreographic modular dance-floor grid with the biofeedback patch array into a synaesthetic fusion of spatial and temporal reference: outside inside-out, inside outside-in: EscherFormDance. Eventually, a kinesthetically-generated (with holographic DanceSmartWear providing subvisual optical signals to receivers interfaced with synthesizers) autopoietic art-music tonal space will be successfully fused to EscherFormDance -- once some practicing pod’s fused collective inner elegance reaches art-music quality harmonic gestalt.

John Lilly began inquiries into metaprogramming during the Korean War era with studies of indoctrination in deprivation environments. This was part of the huge Philadelphia Project on forced indoctrination. He then moved with gathering subversive potential to isolation tanks in gravity-free saltwater, and thence to whales and dolphins and dolphin-human communications. Basically, dolphins were being taught to speak Human. A lot was learned, but in my judgment this communications research model was more Gregory Bateson’s than John Lilly’s. Against the grain of the fundamental orientation in linguistic philosophy, prevailing language theory and logical semantics, to which Bateson was wed, John imagined humans learning DolphinSpeak. This imaginative flight shows itself in two places: something John did and something he did not do. What he did was the word repetition experiments. On the paper describing these experiments, across the top in hand-writing, he wrote: “Demystification of Mantra”. A great intuition! What he did not do was open his mouth at the March 1973 Big Sur seminar given by G. Spencer Brown on LAWS OF FORM. The other luminaries in the small all-luminary audience asked stupid questions, indicating they did not understand what Spencer Brown was talking about. Spencer Brown was disappointed; this is clearly shown in the unpublished transcription of that seminar.

All of Brown’s discussion in LAWS OF FORM up to the chapter “Equations of the Second Degree” have to do with -- in the realms of Hamilton’s quaterions -- the spatial del operator; only with equations of the second degree does he introduce linear-time. And with this introduction, he even feels compelled to develop a modified notation. This was obviously unsatisfying. After the book was published, he apparently kept returning to the issue -- and eventually broke with the whole tradition Gregory Bateson was wed to. In the 1973 workshop, he begins to lay a foundation for operator-time: “Time is something you have to feed back into itself several times…there can’t be time without a self-referential equation…” He shows how the square root of minus one is the value of such an equation where what you have is what you don’t have and what you don’t have is what you have: EscherFormDance in its cosmological choreography. Here is the problem Maxwell stumbled over and tried to solve with his famous demon. This having/not-having/having-not-having (Jan Lukasiewicz’s 3-valued logic) is the essence of 90-degree twists onto imaginary-number axes effected by operator-time and most clearly seen in complex angular momentum cascade leading to tornado genesis. It speaks to temporal ordering, not spatial ordering. Small time differentials, as dynamic factors of form in process, invoke new organizational regimes. Wittgenstein came down with philosophical disease because he couldn’t break free of spatial reference. Generative linguistics never produced a workable notion of universal semantics because recursion is a spatial construct, and recognition of meaning most fundamentally proceeds by time operating on space to generate form. Church’s “calculable if and only if recursive”, and the Tarskian logical semantics derived therefrom, is so abjectly spatial-reference one wonders if philosophical disease is all the disease which results.

What Spencer Brown tried to talk about is higher orders of time in relation to the foundations of logic: time-logics. Word repetition studies are studies of time patterns, studies of sound recognition based on very small time differentials…CogitateCogitate CogitateCogitateCogitateCogitateCogitateCogitateCogitateCogitate… How time gestalts are related to semantic gestalts! Spatial-order perception is dependent on the order of value of the logic employed. The order of logical-value is selected by temporal operations on neural logic nets -- by, that is, the rate-limiting processes poised between the diencephalon and the encephalon. A “Demystification of Mantra” is an approach to the idea of a universal semantics based on time-pattern relations. This is brilliant; this is revolutionary.

It is believed that a universal grammar is encoded into the DNA molecule. The same molecule, that is, in neurons and glia, that generates coherent waves to rate-limit the elemental generators of the EEG -- which members of a movements pod will transmit to a video patch display with their biofeedback headbands. If DNA encodes for a, let’s say, universal semiosis, then that semiosis is not a single-level cipher like contemporary genetic science imagines DNA encoding to be. The time patterns embedded in the higher-order logics of the quantum wave properties of the DNA molecule are the repository of this universal semiosis. Study of these patterns is the royal road for humans to learn DolphinSpeak.

Block or patch theory in chaos modeling has been used to study self-organizing processes relative to DNA codons, but chaos theorists think spatial-syllogism, focus on spatial-pattern recognition (and, thus, quite often are antagonistic to quantum and relativity theory, not to mention being politically Newtonian). And they can model only on-or-off behaviors of the blocks or patches! Two-valued logic or Boolean algebra, which Spencer Brown moved foundations in logic away from, is their bailiwick. Modeling graded levels of activity requires time-pattern organization and higher-valued logics: moving onto an Mnk kinesthetic affinity landscape. Identity transparency comes with these graded levels of activity as higher order time patterns. EEG waveforms are time patterns. So, in the Fourier color-field transform on video block display of, say, EEG output from a movements-pod member, will be seen a spatial representation of a temporal gestalt, which was established by DNA-propagated coherent waves rate-limiting the elemental generators of the EEG. Such block display is a direct way to model self-organizing graded levels of tonic and phasic activation in brains in groups -- and how these graded states on the activation-arousal continuum are influenced/mediated by identity transparency (i.e., EPR correlation between brains in groups).

The group of DNA nucleotide codons carry the universal semiosis in the higher order time-pattern-logic encipherment of their correlated graded levels of activity: Demystification of Mantra. Dolphins and Whales speak “dialects” of this universal semiosis in their click and whistle patterns. The closest human equivalents are Hottentot voice-click and Bushman sound. The audiograms of DolphinSpeak (time-patterns) in John Lilly’s scientific archive can be adequately studied only by a movements-trained human pod demystified by kinesthetic counter-repetition and the psychogenic inner counter-work of reverse metaprogramming.
